Anchor36 Trucking & Logistics History
Anchor36 and Anchor36 Logistics are woman owned heavy haul trucking and logistics companies headquartered in River Ridge, Louisiana. We specialize in transporting oversize construction equipment, as well as overweight and over-dimensional machinery and materials. We are committed to safety, on-time delivery, and amazing customer service.
Courtney Richard saw a need for an additional heavy haul resource in the region and started a trucking company with two business partners in 2010. Anchor36 started with one truck and trailer and a vision of hauling construction equipment throughout the Gulf Coast region. Large machinery led to a variety of over-dimensional loads and the need for a larger fleet. Anchor36’s specialized fleet grew until, by 2015, it included RGN lowboys, beam trailers, flatbeds, and step-deck trailers that hauled throughout the Gulf South.
After multiple large-scale projects requiring more trucks, in more states, than the existing fleet could possibly handle, the necessity for a logistics branch emerged in 2013. Anchor36 Logistics quickly expanded to include a network of carriers hauling throughout the continental US.
With the help of excellent employees and trucking industry mentors, Courtney gained the experience and expertise to meet any hauling need. In 2016, Courtney realized her dream of buying out her partners and running both companies on her own.
Today, Anchor36 and Anchor36 Logistics are 100% woman owned.
